Bethenny Frankel on Talk Show Cancelation: What a Relief!

Frankel says she's "relieved" the gabfest is over because she's a "free spirit" who felt a "bit diluted, filtered and somewhat constricted" by the format.
"I am more comfortable in my natural surroundings and in a setting where I’m surrounded by crazy, where anything goes and where I can be authentically me," Frankel wrote.
"When interviewed about the show, I always said that it could only work if I was true to myself and only if it was genuinely a good fit and marriage which it turned out not to be."
Bethenny added that it was difficult to tell her staff members they are out of work and she admired Ellen, Oprah and others for making a tough job look so easy.
What does the future now hold for this ex-Real Housewife?
"What I really want right now is to be with my daughter, to do yoga, to focus on Skinnygirl and my writing, and to give myself a break," she wrote "I have been striving and climbing and white-knuckling for so long that I need a rest from the grind. I’m a little over myself and wouldn’t blame anyone else for being over me as well."
We wish Frankel the best of luck and we encourage readers to find her in this photo gallery:

Jimmy Kimmel: Expecting First Child with Molly McNearney!

The father of two young adults from a previous relationship, Kimmel said "I decided to have the first one with my wife. We got married in July and, you know, it's interesting. It's disgusting the way babies are made."
Meaning what, exactly?
"There are so many human body parts involved," the comedian quipped. "Did you know there are eggs in us? That's gross just to start with."
Kimmel is already a father to daughter Katie and son Kevin with ex-wife Gina, who he divorced in 2002.
The couple is not finding out the child's gender (for now) but Kimmel does have some names in mind.
"Karate or The Riddler are the names we're thinking of right now," he said, adding: "I would like the baby's middle name to be Effin. And not the curse version of it, like e-f-f-i-n. Like Ellen Effin DeGeneres. I mean, what a great name. Right?"
We somehow doubt McNearney will go for that. But we send this soon-to-be-expanded family our best!

Inappropriate Kylie and Kendall Jenner Photos

Kendall Jenner has taken more intimate selfies on Instagram. What do you think of these photos? -

Kendall on Kylie Jenner: She Was Obsessed with Me!

Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are featured in the latest issue of Marie Claire Mexico, posing in similar outfits and talking openly about their relationship.

To wit:

"She was obsessed with me," Kendall tells the magazine of her younger sibling. "She followed me everywhere."

-

Chantel Jeffries on Justin Bieber: We're Just Friends! -

We’re friends," Jeffries told Terrence Jenkins.
So they were never more than friends? Even for a night? Even for a smooch?
"Do you kiss your friends, Terrence?" Jeffries asked. "Do you sleep in the same bed as your friends?”
What about Bieber's reputation as someone who takes a lot of drugs and who think he's God's gift to the universe?
Jeffries says there are a lot of "misconceptions about Justin" and - while "legal reasons" prevent her from discussing the night of the arrest - she said Bieber was "just happy to be out" of jail the next day and that's why they went down to Panama… together.
Some have referred to Jeffries as a gold digger who has simply attached herself to a rich celebrity.
What does Chandel have to say in response?
“If anything, you can say I’m a goal-digger because, guess what? I have my own goals. And I’m focused on those. I don’t really need anybody else.”

Israel’s First-Ever Zombie Movie Kills It With Cholent Joke

I’m really sorry, Zombeavers. You were totally going to be my favorite zombie movie of 2014, mainly because you are about zombie beavers who terrorize attractive young people in a cabin in the woods. But that was before I saw the trailer for Cannon Fodder, which is an Israeli movie about four IDF commandoes who infiltrate Lebanon to stop a zombie epidemic unleashed by Hezbollah.
How great is Cannon Fodder going to be? Here’s all you need to know: when shooting a zombie early on in the film, one of the brave Israeli he-men looks at the creature’s exposed entrails and quips what is probably the greatest line in any horror movie ever: “Looks like kishke. Cholent for Shabbat.”
I don’t need anything else, and I can’t wait to see Cannon Fodder, which, hopefully, will find American distribution soon.

The Six Stages of a Caregiver’s Journey

Caregivers travel a unique and winding road that is sometimes hard to understand unless you have traveled the same route yourself. While it can bring great joy to be able to care for a loved one in need, the journey itself presents distinctive concerns and issues for both the caregiver and the care recipient.
Denise M. Brown, a certified caregiving coach, has been working with caregivers since 1990 in an effort to help make their journeys in that realm meaningful. She founded Caregiving.com in 1996 as a comprehensive resource that offers testimonials, resources, education, support groups and facts regarding caregiving. Denise also wrote a handbook called The Caregiving Years: Six Stages to a Meaningful Journey. Part of this handbook defines the six stages of caregiving Denise has recognized and organized to provide valuable advice and encouragement to those caring for loved ones.
The following is a condensed version of Denise’s six steps. In each segment of her handbook, Denise provides a keyword and purpose, along with options to consider. These help ensure you stay on the right track and are able to not only survive your caregiving experience, but also cherish the time you are able to give.
Stage 1: The Expectant Caregiver — In the near future, I may help an aging relative. You and your loved one realize you may soon begin your caregiving role, and you both take steps to prepare for that process. This is the time to get the care recipient’s affairs in order — visit with an attorney to set up necessary processes, consult with doctors and discuss with your loved one the level of care she may need, depending on the situation. Together, you prepare for every possible circumstance.
Stage 2: The Freshman Caregiver — I am starting to help an aging relative. As this stage evolves, it provides a sneak preview of the future. You may begin by providing meals and running errands. At this time, you should fully educate yourself on all aspects of your loved one’s condition and decide how you can help. Join support groups that are specific to the illness with which you are dealing or caregiving in general. Support groups provide a needed outlet and help you learn how to take care of yourself and your care recipient properly.
Stage 3: The Entrenched Caregiver — I am helping. You are firmly grounded in all aspects of giving care to a loved one, which plays a large part in defining who you are. Your feelings may be bittersweet — you are glad you can help, but you sometimes wonder “why me?” You are exhausted, physically and mentally. During this stage, re-evaluation is critical, and the main focus should be receiving help from others. Take breaks from responsibilities, so you can rejuvenate and continue on a healthy caregiving path. Establish a routine for both you and your loved one and determine limits of care with which the two of you are comfortable. Accept help from family and friends or hire a respite care provider. Lean heavily on support groups during this time. Sharing your feelings with others will help maintain your focus, as well as your sanity.
Stage 4: The Pragmatic Caregiver — I am still helping an aging relative. You have been caregiving for quite some time, and your purpose now is to look at yourself and ask, “Who am I?” Allow yourself to forgive your care recipient for past grievances and find ways to add fun to your days by singing songs or other engaging activities and finding humor in your situation. If possible, involve your loved one in helping you determine your goals and dreams and start thinking about your future.
Stage 5: The Transitioning Caregiver — My role is changing. Your caregiver duties are coming to an end, either because you can no longer adequately care for your loved one, or their remaining time is coming to an end. Allow yourself to mourn and to reflect on the memories you have shared. Openly discussing these feelings with your care recipient now will make performing the final stages of care easier for both of you.
Stage 6: The Godspeed Caregiver — My caregiving has ended. Your days of caregiving have been over for several years now, and your life is ahead of you. You may choose to become an advocate of caregiving, offering advice, writing about your experience, heading up support groups or merely being the go-to person for other family and friends who may be embarking on caregiving themselves. You are moving forward in your life now and are able to look back on your caregiving years with happy thoughts and sweet memories of the one you cared for.
The caregiver’s journey is special — full of emotional ups-and-downs. Denise’s steps give you permission to experience caregiving at its worst and also at its best. Most of all, her words and advice let you know that you will get through it and enjoy your life to its fullest after your caregiving days end.

How to Deal with your Unfulfilled Sexual Desires

It is rightly said that the greatest battles are not fought on the battlefield, but behind closed bedroom doors. Sexual incompatibility is not uncommon in married couples, especially in India, where pre-marital sex is still frowned upon. Many couples get married and discover their mismatched drives. The desire for a fulfilling life, both emotionally and physically, is something that both men and women share. You and your partner might strike a great rapport emotionally, but physically it might be a completely different case! When the frustration becomes evident it can even lead to serious steps like separation and divorce. But worry not, as we tell you how a little understanding and patience can solve this problem.

Posted in: Celebrity News Posted: January 17, 2014 Kim Kardashian Rips Tight Skirt Before Ellen Degeneres Appearance

Kim Kardashian apparently hasn’t had enough drama for one week. After enduring a racist verbal attack by an 18-year-old man as she walked into a Beverly Hills office building, and having her fiancé Kanye West face a police investigation for assaulting the man, she experienced the ultimate nightmare Thursday afternoon.
As she was about to appear on The Ellen Degeneres Show, E! Online reported, the form-fitting skirt she was planning to wear on the air suffered a “wardrobe malfunction.”
“OMG my dress for Ellen just broke!!! I have to leave in 5mins…I need help! Should I wear this???” the famously curvy reality TV star posted on her Instagram account, asking her 12.3 million followers to pitch in with their views on the viability of her outfit.
To be fair, the Instagram posting does not actually show the tear or other malfunction of the skin-tight skirt. However, from the photo it is easy to see how the garment may have torn.

Tribunal find DJ Chris Moyles claimed to be second-hand car dealer in bid to save £1m in tax

A tax court named Moyles and two other men as having taking part in a scheme called "working wheels" which counted "450 fund managers, celebrities and other high earners between 2006 and 2008" as members.
The scheme worked by allowing its members to say they had incurred large fees while working in the second-hand car trade which they could claim back against their tax bill.
A published judgment from the Tax Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal said Moyles's self-assessment tax return for the financial year ending on April 5, 2008, when he was presenting Radio One's Breakfast Show, said he "had engaged in self-employment as a used car trader".
Moyles did not give evidence directly to the tribunal but did submit "a brief witness statement".
The tribunal, under Judge Colin Bishopp, described that evidence as "very brief and rather uninformative".
The judgment said: "It is however quite clear from the statement that he too entered the scheme for no purpose other than to achieve a tax saving, and that he took no interest in the trade."
It went on to say that Moyles was "anxious to be reassured that the scheme was lawful, and that he would not have to undertake any trading himself".
It said his accountant, a Mr Smith, had "agreed that the scale of Moyles's borrowing was driven solely by the amount of the tax loss he wanted to achieve, in his case £1 million, and that the trading was not carried on for its own sake but was merely a means to an end".
Exchequer Secretary David Gauke said: "This case is another example of why taxpayers should not fall for the promises of promoters selling schemes that are all too often too good to be true. Not only will the taxpayer waste money on the fees for these failed schemes, they will still have to pay all the tax, interest and penalties that are due.
"This Government has provided HMRC with the resources to tackle these avoidance schemes and HMRC will now pursue the other users of the scheme to make sure all the taxes that are due are paid."

Paul Greenwood's movie reviews - Only Lovers Left Alive; Stalingrad; Glasgow Film Festival choice

Only Lovers Left Alive (15, 123 mins)
Director: Jim Jarmusch
4 stars
Jim Jarmusch's witty, thoroughly unique vampire tale stars Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston as centuries old vampires trying their best to survive in our modern world.
When we first meet them, she's in North Africa, he's in the States, in the aptly chosen Detroit, a decaying and dying city.
Even though they call humans zombies, and believe that they're destroying the world, they're unwilling to kill and are forced to buy blood.
Blood is the drug and the life, and they go to great lengths to get it.
The dangers of modernity in a world that's consuming itself around them is the backdrop to their ancient love story, one rich with pungent metaphors (they're called Adam and Eve for heaven's sake) and the sorrow and the weight of centuries.

Beauty blog: want to glow like Hollywood beauty Jennifer Aniston

In under eight weeks time I'm a bridesmaid for my beautiful big cousin, I'll probably leave myself not much time for make-up so I want my skin to be right.
Because of this I'll try anything to sort my oily t-zone and visible pores, and to give myself skin that looks like I'm chilled out and I have had my eight hours sleep every night (I'm not and I don't!). I want a healthy glow, basically, and clear smooth skin.
Latest thing to catch my eye was GlamGlow - a range which previously was difficult to buy (unless you were shopping in somewhere like Sephora in the US) - but is now available at Marks & Spencer.
The range was started in California and quickly gained celeb following with A-listers like the always gorgeous Jennifer Aniston.
Earlier this week I put one of their products to the test, the GlamGlow Youthmud Tingleexfoliate Treatment.
This product is designed to be your '10-minute facial in a jar' - and I'm certainly impressed with what it delivered. I wanted to give a very honest review though and thought the best way to do this would be to give you my pros and cons so that you can decide for yourself if this is the product for you!
Pros
- no other exfoliator has ever made my skin so soft and smooth, and believe me I've tried many! My make-up went on so beautifully the day after as this just lifted dead, dull skin.
